What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:

  • - create, organize and maintain various filing and bring-forward systems
  • - manage records/archives, input and retrieve data, and log/track information
  • - provide a range of administrative and clerical support services (e.g. reception, mail, word processing, scheduling)
  • - contribute to the development of records management procedures and processes
Requirements: 

How do I qualify?

Administrative and Clerical Skills

  • - you have knowledge of electronic and manual file and data management systems
  • - you have experience creating, organizing and maintaining filing systems, managing records/archives, inputting and retrieving data, and logging/tracking information
  • - you have knowledge of administrative office procedures to prepare correspondence, provide reception and mail services, and arrange meetings

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • - you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and staff
  • - you demonstrate tact and courtesy to appropriately respond to enquiries
  • - you have written communication skills to prepare routine correspondence

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

  • - you have demonstrated analytical and evaluation skills to retrieve information, evaluate against pre-set indicators and refer anomalies to senior staff
  • - you have sound reasoning and problem-solving skills to determine the nature of inquiries, maintain confidentiality, determine the best way to handle tasks, and make recommendations for the development of processes

Organizational Skills

  • - you have strong organizational skills to prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • - you can manage schedules and coordinate arrangements for meetings

Computer Skills

  • - you are proficient with computer software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) to prepare correspondence, reports and spreadsheets
  • - you can operate and perform routine maintenance on standard office equipment
